Similar to Balls Berries and Produce, this is a true down-to-earth, visit a farmer experience. While Porters and Smith have amenities like ice cream and playgrounds, Roberts and Balls truly feels like you’re visit your grandma or great-uncle out on the farm.

When I arrived at Roberts, I first thought I had taken a wrong turn, and just stopped at someone’s house. But Mrs. Roberts came out, and sold me a half-pint of strawberry (I had already had my share of picking that day.

The produce stand is the covered porch of the farm house (not bigger than you’re average single family home), and the (expansive backyard) is the U-Pick strawberry field. If you visited family on a farm as a child, you’ll feel right at home.
